Directions: take trains 2,3,4,5, R, B, Q, D, M, N to Atlantic Avenue/Pacific Street. It’s a very short walk from there.
Portrait, mixed media on hand made paper.
Khalil looks just like that in life: majestic. It was a great opportunity to work with him and add his portrait to my series of portraits The Perfect Stranger. He designs his clothes himself and has a way of wearing them with ease.
From my sketchbook: some work from the summer 2009 Iceland trip, and a few NYC ones.
